Before you confirm: account deletion is permanent. Individual scans can be deleted from History without deleting the account.

This page explains how to delete a GlowAI account, what is erased when you do, and the narrow cases where a record may be retained. GlowAI is developed by Moon Labs. Deletion is available to every account, from inside the app, with no waiting period and no email to support required.

How to delete your account

Open the GlowAI app and go to your Profile, then Privacy & Security, and choose Delete Account at the bottom. The app asks you to confirm; once you do, deletion begins immediately.

There is no grace period and no recovery. If you might want your scan history later, use Download Data (on the same Privacy & Security screen) before deleting.

What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently erases the personal data GlowAI holds about you: your email, name and account credentials; every photo you uploaded or captured; all scan results, measurements and reports; your scan history and progress tracking; and your preferences and settings. Your account becomes inaccessible the moment you confirm, and the data is not recoverable afterwards, by you or by us.

What may be retained, and why

Two narrow categories can outlive an account, and neither includes your personal information, photos or scan results. Anonymized security logs may be kept for fraud prevention, and records subject to an active legal proceeding are held until the matter is resolved, as the law requires. Aggregated analytics that cannot identify you (for example, that some account ran a scan on a given day) are covered in the privacy policy, including their retention windows.

Alternatives to deleting everything

You can delete individual scans without touching the account: open History, select a scan, and choose Delete. That removes the scan's photos and results only. And as above, Download Data gives you a copy of everything before you decide.

If something goes wrong

If you cannot reach the deletion screen (for example, you no longer have the app installed or cannot sign in), email munetic.studio@gmail.com from the address on the account and the founder will run the deletion for you. Replies usually come within 48 hours.
