Munu Terms of Service

1. Age

You must be 18 or older to use Munu.

2. Trial and plans

A new account gets a free trial of 3 days or 25 points, whichever ends first. No card is needed. There is one trial per email address and per device. When the trial ends, Munu works again only with Munu Pro.

Munu Pro is sold only in the Munu phone app, as an in-app purchase through the App Store or Google Play. It is not sold on the web, and the Windows and Mac apps sell nothing: they show a QR code that opens the phone app. A plan bought on your phone also works in Munu on your computers when you sign in with the same email. There are three products:

• Munu Pro Monthly: $14.99 per month, an auto-renewing subscription, with 400 points a month.
• Munu Pro Yearly: $139 per year, an auto-renewing subscription, with 350 points a month.
• 300 extra points: $4.99, a one-time purchase for an active Munu Pro member.

These are US prices. The store shows your price in your local currency. Current prices are on the pricing page.

A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the period ends. You manage or cancel the subscription in your App Store account settings or in Google Play subscriptions. The Munu phone app has a Manage link in Settings, then Account. When you cancel, the plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app or your Munu account does not cancel a store subscription. We email you 7 days before a yearly plan renews. If we change a price, the new price applies from your next renewal and we tell you before it takes effect.

3. Payments

Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) takes the payment, handles tax and sends your receipt. Their terms apply to the purchase as well as these terms: on an iPhone, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (opens in a new tab); on Android, the Google Play terms of service (opens in a new tab). RevenueCat (revenuecat.com) processes the purchase records for us. Your card details never reach Moon Labs.

Refunds are asked for from Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play, under their rules. We cannot refund store purchases ourselves. After a refund, the plan ends and its access key for AI use is deleted. See our refund policy.

4. Included AI use

Munu Pro includes points of AI assistant use each month: 400 points on the monthly plan and 350 points on the yearly plan. 1 point is 1 US cent of AI use, and Munu's voice is included. Monthly points reset each month, do not carry over, have no cash value, and can only be used inside the Munu app. Both plans include 400 minutes of listening a month. Past those minutes, listening uses points.

A top-up of 300 extra points is $4.99. You can buy one while your Munu Pro plan is active. Top-up points do not expire, and Munu uses them after your monthly points.

5. Third-party AI services

Munu uses third-party AI services, including OpenRouter and the model providers it routes to. By using Munu you agree to use them only through Munu and only as allowed by these terms, OpenRouter's terms (openrouter.ai/terms) and the terms of each model provider that Munu uses.

6. Connected apps

Munu can connect to your apps (such as Gmail, Google Calendar, GitHub and Slack) through Composio (composio.dev), a separate third-party service. You use Composio under your own Composio account and its terms and privacy policy, not ours. Composio and the apps you connect see the requests Munu makes for you and the data in those apps, and what Munu reads from them is sent to the AI models Munu uses. You are responsible for what you ask Munu to do in your apps. You can disconnect at any time in Settings.

7. Credentials and acceptable use

You may not extract, copy, share or use any access credential that Munu stores on your device, or use Munu to give anyone else access to AI models. You may not use Munu to break the law, to harm others, or to break the rules of the services it connects to.

8. Suspension

We may suspend AI features if a model provider or OpenRouter requires it, or if your use breaks these terms. If we end your plan for a reason that is not your fault, we stop it from renewing and help you get a refund of the unused part of the current period from Apple or Google.

9. Our software

Munu is licensed to you, not sold. You may install and use it on your own devices for your own use while these terms apply. You may not copy, resell or reverse engineer it except where the law allows this despite this clause. Parts of Munu use open source software under their own licenses.

10. Warranty and liability

Munu uses AI, which can be wrong. Check anything important before you rely on it, especially before Munu sends a message, changes a file or acts in one of your apps. Munu is provided "as is" without warranties to the extent the law allows. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Munu in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits rights that the law does not let us limit.

11. Governing law, changes and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Armenia. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protections of the country where you live.
